Question by Ms Sleepy: What does the 1 year filmmaking program in NYFA equal to?
I want to become a filmmaker in Asia and learn to be one in the New York Film Academy because it seems to me a really good school. I was just wondering if the certificate/diploma you get after the 1 year program really is equal to an Associate’s degree? And what are my chances of getting a job after getting the degree in NYFA?

The certification shows that you are interested in the field and that you are willing to make some investment.
As far as that one year certification being an actual qualification, I cannot offer you much hope – by all means try to capitalize on it, but don’t risk too much on it.
