Question by andrew: What kind of notarization would be needed for low budget documentary filmmaker interviewing people?
Were making a documentary that involves kitties and are not going to be rude or mean to anyone but we just dont want anyone trying to sue and take more of what they deserve is by some off chance this project leads to funds in anyway( The movie is not being made in hopes of money or anything of the sort, but, it would be nice to not have to walk to a shitty job six days a week in the winter)

What country? Are you worried about being sued for saying untrue things about the people, or just the fact that they appear in the film with little or no compensation? If the latter, read up on model releases. I don’t think these are usually notarized, but they could be, if you don’t mind going to a notary that has no financial interest in the film.
