in this day and age you can pretty much do anything…
now if you want to do it and get the right kind of attention…like say Praise…
now you do need somethings..
because any person can can right now not even have to pull out a camera they just need to search for a movie then Edit it with their own content…to make it new …just you can not do that and expect $ $ $ because that be Copyright Infringement…
but you could do it to get attention ..
in a sense a filmmaker by definition is one that makes a film by way of using a camera…
but now it is anyone that create a visual project on Film or Video….
whether it be with a camera or just Editing of materials…
so with that being said the Physical needs of a filmmaker are subjective
so lets say this …
for a certain filmmaker you would need…
Camera
Lighting at least three light usually
Sound gathering device…
either and Editing Computer or device or you could just shoot everything in order for the camera…HARD very HARD usually but it can be done …re-done till done right.
and you need a subject …now this is all based on what you want
most want an Actor/Actress …but you could just as easily have an animal or a Landscape, or a thing as for what you shoot that is up to you …
now me i like to have a Storyboard…for my work and a script of a type …just a bare outline…and then write from there as we go along……
for me i want you to have a Vision that you want to show that is unlike that which has been done on film or TV before or to make it NEW BETTER…that is my Ideals…
