Question by limegreen93: What should my next move be?
hey guys.
Sooo I love acting and my dream is to one day be on a major film…not like a tv show or anything, but a real movie.
I’m 15 now and am wondering what should do now. The first acting experience I’ve had was when I was about 12. I was in my upper elementary theater production. I also figure skate and have been in many Theater on Ice productions.
For example: I have been one of the evil step sisters in Cinderella, a cowgirl in a Wild Wild West production, and a little girl in a Christmas production. I am Currently an outer space princess in the up coming production.
I switched schools last year and found out that they just cut their theater elective. But for homecoming and jr./sr.[kinda like sadies], they make a short 45min film that u can tryout for..I have made it in all 3 films they have made since I’ve been there. I was Gabriella in HSM, a former student, and the girl in the James Bond moive.
I dont know if I should go to an acting company since they cost thousands of$ $ and idk of any major actors that have when through that system.I’ve visited one and they said that it would cost at leastt 2,000$ and of course, my parents said heckkk no.
I am trying to convince my parents to take me to California this summer to try out for some movies but I have nooooo idea how to do audition or anything..soo im technically clueless about all that stuff..resumes,how to prepare,all that.
so if anyone could held me with any of this stuff, it would be sooooooo greattt!!!!!!!!!

ps.i dont want any answers saying yeah, u wont make it..blahhhhhhhhhhblahh. cuz really. what do i have to loose? i love acting.im not in it for the fame and $ $ that most ppl are in it for.i have a passon for it and i would really love it if u could help.
How could u find an agent also??

take lessons in vocal pop and hip hop dance
look for auditions to be extras in films
find an agent …not an agency
