Question by Cressalys: What to do about property stolen at school?
Well I left my purse on my desk today so I could go out and film (Tv.Productions Class) and I was only gone like 20 minutes. I came back in after I was done and got out the little gold pouch I keep in my purse that holds all 7 of my flash drives and realized they were all gone.
Somebody had to have stolen them as I had just used one of them in my previous class.
Everybody said that didn’t know who it was and once I took it up with the teacher he said he couldn’t legally do anything about it.
My school won’t do anything about it either since it was my property and here for I held all responsibility for it.
I spent at least $ 20 – $ 50 on each one and the sum of the cost of them would be somewhere around $ 170
Not to mention all of the files I lost that I can’t back.
Is there anything further that I can do about this?

If your school is any good, then your principal will do something about it, like fill out a theft report. Or you could talk to the police. But the sad truth is that you will probably not get your property back.
