Question by everlong822: What’s a good cheap camera for independent filmmaking?
I’ve been making short films with my old JVC mini dv camcorder for awhile, but I would like to start entering contests. The visual and audio quality is just terrible and I’d be embarrassed to enter anything made with that camera.
So my question is… what is a good, relatively cheap, camera with good visual quality?
and as a bonus question: Are there any programs similar to Final Cut Pro that are cheaper?
