Question by JO O: Where do I go to find a screenwriter or buy a script?
I’m an aspiring independent producer, but can’t write a screenplay worth a damn. I’ve tried for times and failed. Now I’m looking for someone that I can either collaborate with to write or a place or website to buy a spec script. Any ideas? Looking for a low budget suspense/thriller or horror film (a budget under $ 1 million). Thanks.
I offer $ 2,000-$ 3,000 for the screenwriter plus 20% of the film profits.
