Question by aurora_dreamer0001: Who gives money for documentaries to be done?
Videos like “Super Size Me” and “Who Killed The Electric Car” are documentaries but I don’t know who were the ones to put money up for them. The question is geared towards all documentaries though, not just these two. Who gives money for these to be maade? Is it groups, businesses, production companies? I need exact names and not just an explanation please.

You’re asking a question with no answer. There are no ‘exact names’ to give you. Films are financed by millions of different sources, from production companies to charitable donations to maxed out credit cards. A lot of documentaries are self-financed, and those that aren’t are financed by all of the above things you mention in your question, and usually from more than one. It’s pretty rare for a documentary to have a sole financier.
