Question by BronxBoi: Working for Television?
Hey I’m interested in working in the television industry here in New York, like HBO for instance.
The only thing is, on my resume I only have my education from Film School, and experience directing & shooting feature length films.
My question is…will the people at the TV industry accept my film experience?
I’m looking for a job mainly in production of shows…(AD, AC, CO, ETC.)
Will it be a problem that I don’t have a bachelors degree?

Why wouldn’t they accept it. Film school along shooting and directing feature films is the experience you have to offer. Don’t sell yourself short. Everyone has to start somewhere. You’ve got nothing to lose. Send out some reumes and demo tapes and see what happens.
Not having a bachelor’s degree may not be a problem if you can prove you have the skills, ambition and desire to complete the project you’re given.
